One observation: we are blessed beyond our comprehension by the exceptional people God has put in our lives both here and in Africa. We've had many visits with friends and family already, and every one of them ended with us wishing we had longer to visit, and thanking God for the time we had.
Much of the first week was spent getting physicals and touching base with family; seeing friends and hitting some favorite spots around town. The kids have been having a blast with all their friends:

We've visited the Indianapolis Children's Museum twice, between doctor's visits. They have a great permanent exhibit about Ruby Bridges and we liked the good words/bad words board:
And the Yule Slide. When we last visited (the day we moved to Africa!!), the kids were too young to go down alone.
And hey, when in Indianapolis, you must observe Indy Car racing.

We spent tonight at Baker Chapel Church, where Len and I served in ministry together many years ago, and caught up with some of the finest people on earth.
Sometimes I feel like Forrest Gump or like we're getting away with something by doing life with so many amazing people. But it's just God's grace that weaves our lives together into a lovely, beautiful road.
